Gaetano Carboni and Harriet Matzdorf from Pollinaria - the wine farm, artist residency, resarch and curatorial agency - connected with Myvillages just before the start of the Corona pandemic. We met every month online to meet and get to know each other through sharing books, research, rural memories and trans-local drawing.
In October 2021 Myvillages spent ten days at Pollinaria, making first connections with local residents and groups. Seed heritage, bottom-up planning, inter-generational economies, land-use and outdoor school formats were some of the many research and practice based overlaps we noted.
Myvillages and Pollinaria are currently working on how to start in public, and we are waiting with publishing details and names until then.
Wapke, Antje and Kathrin visit Pollinaria for the first time, after trying to get to know the place via zoom for 18 months.
Details and names of who we met and made plans with will be published once the Rural School of Economics starts officially.
