We're very happy about our new murals, not least because this time, we took a new inclusive and spontaneous approach. Rather than working from a pre-made design, we invited everyone to contribute, creating the design together in real time as we worked.
The result feels more creative and special. For instance, someone inside of the structure added the phrase "in a barrel of Diogenes". Would we have planned that in advance?
Normally, we have to present a pre-approved design to local authorities for permits. But this time, since these murals are on smaller concrete structures, there was no need for a formal approval. We think we will return to this method of creating murals in future :)
